“Mystery Science Theater 3000” (1988-1999) was a TV show in which a man and his robot sidekicks riffed on B-movies as part of an “experiment.” This cartoon makes fun of them watching their own “Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie” released in 1996.

Isaac Asimov first published his Three Laws of Robotics in his 1942 story “Runaround.” They are:
- A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
- A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
- A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.
Here’s a sampler of the robots I created for a series of computer programming books from Kidware Software (http://www.computerscienceforkids.com/). The entire project consisted of these robots characters in over 100 illustrations. All the artwork was created entirely digitally from concept sketches to final artwork. I maintained a hand-inked looked by using Photoshop brushes from Frenden.com with a WACOM tablet.
